Privacy Policy

Effective 31 May 2026.

This Privacy Policy explains how Gallivant Ventures LLP (LLPIN ACB-5193), a limited liability partnership registered in Kochi, Kerala (“Gallivant”, “we”, “us”), collects and handles personal data through wegallivant.com (the “Site”). We are the data fiduciary for personal data collected through this Site under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”).

1. What we collect

We collect only what you choose to share. Through our contact form and direct enquiries, that means your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, and the content of your message. When you book a call through our scheduling link, we also collect the name, email address, and any notes you provide at the time of booking.

We also collect standard analytics data—pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type—through cookies and similar technologies, but only if you have consented to analytics cookies through our cookie consent banner.

2. Legal basis

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent: consent given when you submit an enquiry through our contact form, and consent given when you accept analytics cookies through our cookie consent tool. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to the Grievance Officer below. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.

3. How we use it

We use your data to respond to your enquiry, to schedule and manage a call with you, to manage a partnership, property, or brand-asset conversation you have initiated, and to operate and improve the Site. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Booking data

When you book a call through our Outlook scheduling link, Microsoft processes your name, email address, and any information you provide in the booking form. This processing is governed by Microsoft’s Privacy Statement. We retain booking records for 12 months.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

  • The specific Gallivant portfolio business your enquiry concerns;
  • Service providers who help us operate the Site, under confidentiality obligations—see Section 6 below; and
  • Authorities where disclosure is required by law.

6. Sub-processors

The following third parties process personal data on our behalf or as independent data controllers in connection with the Site:

  • Google LLC (USA) — Google Analytics 4 (analytics and usage data)
  • Cloudflare Inc. (USA) — web infrastructure, security, and performance
  • Automattic Inc. (USA) — WordPress hosting
  • Microsoft Corporation (USA) — Microsoft 365 (enquiry email delivery) and Outlook bookwithme (scheduling)
  • HubSpot Inc. (USA) — contact forms and visitor tracking

Each processes data under their own privacy policies and data processing terms.

7. Data transfers

The sub-processors listed above are based in the United States. Your personal data may therefore be transferred to and processed in the USA. These transfers are governed by the data processing agreements between Gallivant and each provider. You may opt out of Google Analytics data collection by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.

8. Retention

  • Contact and enquiry data: 2 years from last contact.
  • Booking records: 12 months from the date of the call.
  • Analytics event-level data: 14 months (aligned to our Google Analytics 4 retention setting), then aggregated or deleted.

9. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act 2023, you may:

  • Request access to your personal data;
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Request erasure of your personal data (subject to legal retention obligations);
  • Withdraw consent at any time;

10. Minors

This Site is not intended for persons under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that a minor has submitted personal data through this Site, we will delete it promptly.

11. Cookies

We use essential cookies that are necessary for the Site to function, and analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) to understand how the Site is used. Analytics cookies are only placed if you consent through our cookie banner. You can change your cookie preferences at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer, or by adjusting your browser settings.
